Dumpster Life

Many teachers only teach in their classroom without any hand-on activities. Well for Jeff Wilson, an environmentalist college teacher in Austin, Texas, this is not the case. He calls his hand on activity the Dumpster Project, which involves him living in a dumpster for a year. This project is used to explain the consumption levels of the American lifestyle. With the help of his college students he wants to prove that living comfortably doesn't need to be expensive or have lots of materials.
